Mike Al Mefleh, director of product management at BlackBerry Middle East has confirmed the existence of 10″ BlackBerry PlayBook & may hit to stores as early as June of this year! The original BlackBerry PlayBook tablet was the word’s first true multitasking machine which was running on company’s very new QNX kernel system. Now we have a polished BalckBerry 10 platform running on it & its a great idea to release an ideal tablet PC for the same.

We have a very clear road map. The company will launch six additional new devices in 2013,” said Al Mefleh and added that the PlayBook will be in addition to these six new devices. As rumored, two low tier BlackBerry 10 smartphones (QWERTY & All-Touch each) & one BlackBerry Z10 successor model will show up following to BlackBerry Q10 till the end of this year. And the 6th device of 2013 from BlackBerry is now unveiled to be the new BlackBerry PlayBook tablet.

Though the current owners of 7″ BlackBerry PlayBook will get a BlackBerry 10 OS update in future, a new high powered tablet specially built for the new platform makes total sense. What do you guys think? Excited? Share your thoughts in comments below

While I am looking forward to BB10 on my existing PlayBook, I have a feeling that it will seem a little slow compared to the BB10 phones that are out. A faster processor would be beneficial. As for the size, I personally prefer the 7″ format factor for most purposes.

Hmm, till now I was worrying that I thrown money in ditch by buying a playbook. Now some hope is there that something will happen before I throw it out. I feel bb in contribution towards help in playbook is very less, I desprately need few apps in playbook, when they are available for ipad and android it just makes me crying!
