since m a new blackberry user,i wanna knw wat if i install a update issued by other operator..like m using unlocked 9700 on airtel india..wat if i install the latest update as shown above from vodafone?will my phone get locked?
It is safe to upgrade OS released by any carrier just remember to delete the ‘vendor.xml’ file. It won’t get locked. The only reason it the warranty will be void when returning. Just downgrade to the original OS and return if that’s case

If you are talking about using non-Australian SIM card then you have to make sure your card is roaming activated.
If you are talking about using Australian SIM card for your BlackBerry, make sure your BlackBerry is unlocked to network.
blackberry is unlocked mate i am asking do u guys have any idea that in australia can i use a prepaid service with bb services on it or not .. or is it a must for me to take a contract only to use bb services ..
As far as I know theres no provider in AUS who provides BIS on prepaid plans. Not sure with latest plans though, need to confim

Hi..i just installed the Official OS 6.0.0.448 for the Bold 9700…after the installation the device got rebooted and what i see is a black disclaimer outlay on the home-screen. The problem is that i am not able to scroll through disclaimer to reach the accept button at the end. Please help.

Try pressing letter Y, it might select the button Yes. If doesn’t work, try restarting again (battery pull)

Call your carrier helpline and ask for BlackBerry Tour 9630 registration. Service books automatically sets in when you get registered.

Prob:- I missed my BB App World icon. I tried restarting my ph, aftr tht i got BB App world bt the icon changed to browser, now when i try to open app world it says unable to connect.
