IBM releases software for BlackBerry devices

IBM has unveiled technically-advanced software for Apple and also RIM smartphones as well as tablet computers.

The largest computer-services provider, IBM is trying to expand its billion-dollar analytics business. This single software for BlackBerry and iPhone smartphones will change the dimensions of sharing the data via phones.

Cognos 10 is the newly developed software which allows the business analytics software on mobile phones as well as let the owner to share the data via social networks. This new software is compatible to be uploaded in Apple Inc’s iPad and iPhone and Research In Motion Ltd’s BlackBerry.

With the new software, IBM expects a rise in company sales. It believes the new software will attract more and more customers. The company forecasts that within next five years, IBM’s sales would rise-up to $16 billion.

IBM said that by 2013, number of mobile workers will exceed 1.19 billion. Hertz Global Holdings Inc, the largest car-rental company is going to use IBM’s software to analyze responses of the survey data. The data will be collected from the customers via text messages.
