Here it is (hopes)! The so called, “The Best BlackBerry Ever” – BlackBerry Torch will be released tomorrow or day after. No official word out yet, no finalized price leaked yet but we estimate it at Rs. 34,990 retail price. BlackBerry 6, Touch-screen (multi-touch), new Webkit browser, etc.
Now, are our carriers updated to support Webkit service books for BlackBerry Torch? The new Webkit browser need to have the new service books provided from the carrier for you to access the internet data. Blackberry Messenger, E-mail, IM messengers would work but some apps and browser won’t be able to grab the data from the carrier’s end on the devices running BlackBerry 6 OS.
There’s a fix for that one too. Ask us how to before switching your SIM card to your new BlackBerry Torch.
