I’ve found an interesting and short walkthrough on the BlackBerry PlayBook SDK /Adobe AIR. Christian Cantrell from Adobe tried his App, iReverse to develop for BlackBerry PlayBook and his experience was great, easy and completed developing a working application within just an hour.
If you’re interested in getting started developing for the PlayBook using the BlackBerry Tablet OS SDK, Christian Cantrell recommend the following:
- Check out Julian’s presentation.
- Go grab the SDK and emulator.
- Make sure you have Flash Builder 4.0.1 installed. The BlackBerry Tablet OS SDK does not work with Flash Builder 4.0 or with the 4.5 beta (yet).
Have fun, and remember that if you submit an application to BlackBerry App World and it gets accepted, RIM will send you a free PlayBook.
