PlayBook Delays Due to Dull Battery?

“(BlackBerry PlayBook) needs to improve its relatively poor battery life of a few hours compared to 6 hours for the Samsung Galaxy Tab and 10 hours for Apple’s iPad.”, claims Kaufman Brothers analyst Shaw Wu. The company’s 1st tablet was dated to release in early 2011 by RIM‘s Co-CEO Jim Balsillie. Meanwhile, the officials delayed launch of device pushing date to March or April next year.
This can either be the suspected battery issue or maybe RIM is waiting for upcoming rival iPad 2 from Apple. But studies say, a dual-core processor, high-end cameras & completely flash based OS on BlackBerry PlayBook can be harsh on battery. This doubt remains unclear until Research In Motion reasons the delay.
