Regarding huge flow of rumors about company’s new tablet BlackBerry PlayBook, RIM today has something to say Kaufman Brothers analyst Shawn Wu who claimed poor battery performance earlier. This is what RIM said:
“Any testing or observation of battery life to date by anyone outside of RIM would have been performed using pre-beta units that were built without power management implemented. RIM is on track with its schedule to optimize the BlackBerry PlayBook’s battery life and looks forward to providing customers with a professional grade tablet that offers superior performance with comparable battery life.”
Being so quick to response also show RIM’s promising side to all awaiting customers on BlackBerry PlayBook. The tablet will definitely rise company’s stock according to experts. Although there’s no official release date for the device, it is set to release in first quarter next year as told earlier.
