Still No Solution for India

India is still concerned about RIM agreement to provide monitoring for high encryption data flow of BlackBerry email and chat service. “Voice, SMS and individual email communications can be intercepted and monitored by security agencies in readable format“, India’s minister of state for communications Sachin Pilot told parliament. “However, security agencies are not able to intercept and monitor the communications” made through BlackBerry’s corporate email and messenger chatting services“, Pilot said.

Back in October, Indian intelligence granted extension till January end to provide full access to data flowing between devices. Facing several attacks past few years, the country heads are worried about terrorists communication ease using BlackBerry messaging facility. It will be a huge loss to RIM dropping more than 1.1 million BlackBerry users in India if they don’t provide any solution.
