We know what makes BlackBerry PlayBook Ultra Fast!

According to a RIM representative on CES 2011, they use the blazing fast OMAP4430 processor in BlackBerry PlayBook. Texas Instruments, a US based company & maker of OMAP chipset says that means should expect a 1.25x improvement in graphics performance, a 30 percent decline in webpage load time, and 1080p playback performance that doubles the slowpoke with this small 1GHZ Dual-Core devil.

RIM utilized every possible feature they could supply & mainly they focused on multitasking which makes tablet a unique one.

More suprising, the very same chipset was used on Dual-Drift, a portable device made by TAT. Now, if you follow BBin lately, you maybe recollecting something here. The Astonishing Tribe(TAT) was recently acquired by RIM. For those who don’t know, TAT is renowned for their innovative mobile user interface (UI) designs and has a long history of working with mobile and embedded technology.
