The First Tablet Built for Business: Cisco Cius: for mobile viewing pleasure
Cisco Systems now starts marketing their First Tablet Built for Business, runs Android. The advert shows other smartphones, tablets and laptop how Cisco Cius is better than all these devices. It has WebEx Connect, Cisco’s online meeting messenger which is vast used with corporate. The Cisco Cius also connects to the Cisco IP Phones (not all models) for Video Conference calling.
It was announced a year ago and as far as I can remember it was going to launch in February 2011, even if it did they started marketing now. I have also talked about this then on Tough challenges for RIM ahead post when rumours were out about BlackBerry PlayBook (BlackPad).
I wasn’t much impressed by the product when I used the pre-launched product in late 2010 which had Android 2.2 installed on it. You can watch the demo by John Chamber (Cisco Systems Inc, CEO):
