Back in January, Mike Lazaridis, Co-CEO at RIM, revealed strategy of company in coming years. Mike said QNX operating system will be on upcoming BlackBerry smartphones or ‘Super Phone‘. Well its not necessary to have QNX platform to run different platforms.
Last week, our Polish friends BBnews.pl has leaked a screenshot of upcoming BlackBerry App World 3.0. The UI seems to be changed overall & feel similar to webstore overhaul. Now have a look closely! In the image above, a small BlackBerry logo has setup beside search bar which is also spotted on BlackBerry PlayBook‘s App World in the latest OS.
According to CrackBerry.com, BlackBerry logo placement could be a glimpse of Android apps presence within App World replacing native logos. If thats true, there’s a lot more going on unnoticed for phones as well. #Hope: C’mon RIM! Be ‘RIM’arkable again 😉
