WOW!….. Never thought of rooting PlayBook until today. Thanks to DingleBerry, the BlackBerry PlayBook can now host USB storage devices with the help of Guillem Mateos, a 3rd party coder. Anyhow you need to root your tablet for this feature or else wait till February for official Tablet 2.0 which may officially support external storage devices. Can’t wait? I’ve beenwaiting for the longestfor this feature to be enabled! I just want RIM to release it officially as well as more CODEC support, converting media is annoying.
Upcoming tablet OS 2.0 in February will support MKV along several others 🙂
