RIM Patents 'Tap to Unlock' Pattern

To avoid operating systems’ patent wars RIM has filed its own & unusual “System and method for locking and unlocking access to an electronic device” pattern back in year 2006 which has now been approved. Thanks to Engadget, this found patent leads to unlock, lock & launch specified task operated. With deep integration to tap along accelerometer is meant for secured combination. Hopefully RIM will demo the usage sometime later only if they decide utilizing it in future products.
