TAT Founder Leaves RIM as BlackBerry 10 Reaches to Final Stage

Hampus Jakobssom, founder of TAT & Strategic Alliances Director at RIM, steps down as the entrepreneur accomplished his goals with ‘The Astonishing Tribe’ project. RIM acquired the Swedish user interface engineers back in 2010 after bagging QNX platform a year before. After a hefty years of work for building BlackBerry 10 & its development tools, the “Start-up guy”, as Hampus calls himself, is heading for new ventures to excel once again. We wish him good luck for everything he aims!
For all you BlackBerry fans, this isn’t a sad news as being portrayed. The TAT engineers are still gearing up BlackBerry Platform. Here’s what RIM says regarding the same :
RIM can confirm that Hampus Jakobsson has left his role as Director, Strategic Alliancesat RIM. We wish him the best. The BlackBerry 10 UI team, which includes many members of The Astonishing Tribe, as well as others around the world, remains on track to deliver BlackBerry 10 in the first quarter of 2013
