News: Ashley Charles jailed for life for murder of BlackBerry executive Phillip Sheriff

The attack happened at the bar at Pulse nightclub in Southwark, south London in April.

The event was sponsored by BlackBerry where Phillip Sheriff, a BlackBerry executive was attacked and murdred by an Art Director, Ashley Charles. CCTV footage showing Ashley Charles confronting 37-year-old Phillip Sherriff before attacking him with a bottle and killing him has been released by Met police.

Charles, was at the bar at Pulse nightclub, in south London, when he grabbed a bottle from Mr Sherriff, a phone executive, and slashed his neck.

The singer Jessie J had performed at the event earlier in the evening.
