After introducing the BBM Voice on OS6+ smartphones earlier this year, BlackBerry updates BlackBerry Messenger (BBM) for OS5 – With BBM Voice for FREE calls over WiFi! BlackBerry users can now enjoy voice calling with their BBM contacts within WiFi network. BBM Voice will require BIS connection as well as WiFi to make calls & will be available in selected countries. Is India listed? Meh… RROYY is here so no fear 😉
BBM Voice includes a number of convenient features.
- Customers can initiate a BBM Voice call directly, or instantly switch from a BBM text chat to talk, and back again.
- The split-screen feature allows customers to talk and text at the same time, so for example, they can send a picture to their contact while talking with them. They can also check other BBM text chats, check email, or navigate to other apps while engaged on a BBM Voice call.
- BBM provides a visual indicator that shows when contacts are available for a voice call.
- BBM Voice is compatible with any accessories a customer has now for making voice calls on their BlackBerry smartphone, such as a Bluetooth® or wired headset. Customers can also use BBM Voice over their BlackBerry smartphone’s speakerphone.
- If it’s not an ideal time to talk, customers can simply choose to respond by texting back.

I can’t download the BBM7 for OS5 🙁 i keep on receiving codes which I can’t understand.. why is that?

Can you tell me, Is this app available for my BB Curve 9320 (OS 7.1.2039) ?
Nope..!! it does not work for Curve 8520 Os5.
It clearly says its not supported by the device.
When I click on the download option its just a blank white screen wt I get and nothing els :s
When I try to do bbm voice with my friend it says voice chat could not be estabilished because of problem with network connection. Please help.
