After releasing an innovative BlackBerry Passport product last year, BlackBerry announced their 2015 flagship slider smartphone at Mobile World Congress 2015. This new device will have a beautiful dual curve QHD display with remarkable specs including the touch capacitive physical keyboard similar to the Passport. In an interview with Bloomberg last night, BlackBerry CEO discussed future handsets and stated that the slider will come out later this year while the other two – BlackBerry Porsche Design ‘Keian’ and BlackBerry ‘Oslo’ may or may not launch this year. The leaked picture above is rumored to be BlackBerry’s next qwerty smartphone, codenamed Oslo. By seeing it, anyone can say it is very similar looking to the Passport and it sure is. But it is said to be a cheaper variant of the original designed with less premium materials overall. BlackBerry Passport has stated to be the most innovative product and we think it is a right move by BlackBerry to launch Oslo to make this unique wide form factor more popular especially in emerging market. On the other hand, the luxurious twin of the Passport – BlackBerry Porsche Design ‘Keian’ (image below) looks stunningly beautiful!
