  1. Dumb question: Assuming BlackBerry has found a way to secure Android, has BlackBerry patented it? If so, how easily can other companies patent security on Android? Does BlackBerry have a patent monopoly on Secure Android? Note that the term “Secure Android” is really similar to John Chen’s terminology, “Secure Linux”. Does Samsung back this? Will it work in India and Asia? Will it support security in healthcare? The 1997 sci-fi movie, Gattaca, pictures why security is necessary in healthcare. And when will BlackBerry address the above questions? Does the world need Secure Android?
