Not long ago, Ford Motor Company announced its new SYNC 3 automotive infotainment system which showed up in their new Ford vehicles. The predecessor of SYNC systems were powered by Microsoft but the company switched to BlackBerry’s QNX to deliver the best technology on roads.
After launching couple of Ford cars with SYNC 3, the systems also made its way to 2016 Lincoln models. Unlike the earlier SYNC systems, this new setup has a touch screen panel, enhanced hands-free features, Android Car and Apple’s CarPlay support (in coming update) including support for apps.
