Video: John Chen gives a closer look at BlackBerry Priv

Soon after announcing the new BlackBerry Priv yesterday, BlackBerry CEO John Chen gives its first official hands-on of the upcoming Android powered BlackBerry slider smartphone. The company touts this phone to be the most secured Android ever and hence that’s how the name Priv came into existence, meaning: “Privacy. Privilege.”.

It has almost been a year since John Chen first hinted about a new software incoming which would drive all dual-smartphones users ending up with just one (balancing Work and Personal lives on one device). Though, this motive has always been a spark of BlackBerry 10 OS but the lack of ecosystem have forced the company to take an alternative route securing Android to achieve the best of both worlds. BlackBerry is working closely with Google to bring its unbeatable privacy and security features over to Android. In typical John words: “Privacy is what you get, Security is what we provide and Privilege is what you end up” with this new beautiful handset.
