There has been so many requests for getting Snapchat on BlackBerry 10. Sadly, the developers aren’t interested enough to build one but here’s a guide to make it run perfectly on your BlackBerry 10 smartphone.
Firstly, we should thank Cobalt for his amazing efforts to bring Google dependencies over to BlackBerry. This wouldn’t be possible without his hardwork. Follow the instructions properly before commenting.
Things you need to install:
- BlackBerry Google ID
- Google Account
- Google Services
- Patched Snapchat apk (here)
How To Install
- Install all three Google apps provided and run BlackBerry Google ID app. Click on ‘Register this device’ on bottom. Click ‘existing’ button on the next page and enter your Gmail ID. If you do not have a Gmail account, create one and enter here. Once logged in, hit ‘Register this device’ again and follow instructions. Your device will now be registered. You do not have to run the other two Google apps.
- Install patched Snapchat apk provided and create a new Snapchat ID. You cannot login with an existing ID.
Now you have fully working official Snapchat app on your BlackBerry 10 smartphone.
Things to remember:
- You will have to create a new Snapchat ID
- You won’t get any notifications in HUB
- Expect some lags here and there
- Expect crashes especially posting videos
- Make sure you close the app using Device Monitor or else Snapchat will be running in the background killing your battery

While trying to register my z3 it is showing ‘ no google account manager installed’. How to fix it??? please

Did you install all three google apps listed above? We have tested on BlackBerry Z3 and it works perfectly fine. Please follow instructions properly.
On the google id app while clicking ‘ register this device’ it is showing ‘there is no google system on your device. Do you want to add one?’. When I try to add account by tap on ‘yes’ it is showing ‘ google account manager not installed’. That’s it…. what to do next???
You clearly haven’t installed Google Account apk. Please follow the instructions. Install all apps first before launching BlackBerry Google ID
I installed everything,followed all steps,signed up.but the app quits automatically

I installed it twice before but uninstalled it afterwards. I don’t know why it’s not installing anymore in my phone

No unfortunately. Stick to that version till we test further updates to work. The current latest verion doesn’t work
Could I have patched version of Groupon or Periscope? Tnks!
Periscope needs Android 4.4 and the runtime available on BlackBerry is Android 4.3. So that’s impossible.
ive successfully created a new snapchat account…but whenever I open the snapchat it keeps closing..

I have followed the instructions, I am on my z30 right when the snapchat apk is just about finished installing it’s closes down?? I have tried several times now with no luck
How do I add contacts? I try to, but won’t click
I’m having the same problem as Chris. Everything works well, but I can only send black screen pictures. When I take a picture of my face it is only black, however, if I download the picture it saves to my phone as it should look. But can only send black screens to other people. (text and drawing works fine too)

I did everything but the app don’t let me take pictures or videos, it crashes when I try to take a video, and shows a black background when I take a picture
I hav installed all the three google softwares and installed apk snapchat file, registered succesfully but when I open snapchat it opens only for few seconds and dissappears…help me out please.
I have installed the applications, but whenever I want to open snapchat, it doesn’t open… usually stops at ‘verifying device’ plus I have not been able to signup to snapchat. please help me.
I did absolutely everything. After I signed in it closed. Now when I try to open it, it opens and closes after. How do I fix that issue?
I’m having the same problem as AJ. Everything works besides me being able to take pictures and video. The pictures come out as a black screen even though when I snap it it shows the pic then instantly goes black. Any thoughts???
