Guide: Get the latest Uber app on BlackBerry 10

Need a cab? Get Uber on you BlackBerry 10 smartphone! After showing you guys how to install Snapchat and YouTube, Uber is the next fully working and highly requested app for Indian BlackBerry users. Though it’s an Android port, everything works perfectly fine without any limitations. So let’s get started!

Firstly, we should thank Cobalt for his amazing efforts to bring Google dependencies over to BlackBerry. This wouldn’t be possible without his hardwork. Please follow the instructions properly before commenting.

Things you need to install:

  1. BlackBerry Google ID
  2. Google Account
  3. Google Services
  4. Patched Uber apk (here)

How To Install

  1. Install all three Google apps provided and run BlackBerry Google ID app. Click on ‘Register this device’ on bottom. Click ‘existing’ button on the next page and enter your Gmail ID. If you do not have a Gmail account, create one and enter here. Once logged in, hit ‘Register this device’ again and follow instructions. Your device will now be registered. You do not have to run the other two Google apps.
  2. Install patched Uber apk provided. NOTE: If you are a new Uber user and can’t assign payments option as ‘Cash’, you may need to log-in on an Android phone once to make it appear on BlackBerry.

Now you have the official Uber app on your BlackBerry 10 smartphone.
