TCL introduces the new BlackBerry smartphone!

After several teasers past couple of days, TCL introduces its recently licensed brand product – the all new BlackBerry smartphone at CES2017 today! The new BlackBerry, available in early 2017, offers premium outstanding features including:
Keyboard: The world’s most advanced intelligent keyboard to date: touch sensitive with predictive typing
functionality customized to your writing style and language preferences
Tactility: High-gloss polished keys mimic the finish of the display glass, giving a consistent, polished look across
the front of the device
Security: Device security built in from the start using trusted BlackBerry security software that is updated in real
time to ensure the best protection for your corporate and personal data
Android: 100% Android for access to all your apps and data and the entire Android ecosystem and OS updates

Unlike other Android powered BlackBerrys, this phone brings back the good old BlackBerry form-factor with Posrche Design P’9983 like touch capacitive physical keyboard and fingerprint scanner merged into the space-key on the bottom. The rear has a soft-touch dimpled rubber pattern similar to BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition and has a bigger than expected camera lens. The sides have volume rocker, convenience key and a power button. On the top and bottom, we have a headphones jack and a USB port C.

Overall the phone looks like a mix and match of Porsche Design P’9983 And BlackBerry Passport Silver Edition running Android Nougat with undisclosed enhanced specifications under the hood.

Now the saddening part, the phone won’t be launched before the month of March as TCL states to share more info next month at Mobile Word Conference in Barcelona. Till then, we all gather back again to rely on leaks and rumors unless BlackBerry and TCL throws some more information later on.
