Does BlackBerry KEYone support Indian 4G networks?

Many of our readers and BlackBerry fans across India are impatiently waiting to get their hands on the new BlackBerry KEYone smartphone. The device has rolled out in almost every country globally and received a tremendous response in Europe & North America. The makers — TCL, does not hold BlackBerry licence in Southern Asia which is causing a hurdle for KEYone to makes its way to India. However, you can buy the phone right away from online retail stores across the web. But will it work perfectly on Indian networks? — Many of our subscribers have asked us this question. And here we are to find it out!

TCL produced two GSM models of the BlackBerry KEYone and one more model specicifically for the Verizon CDMA network. Since GSM is the network to go in India, we listed the bands below supported on the BlackBerry KEYone sold in the North America region & the EMEA (Europe, Middle East & Africa) region.

Network (NA GSM) LTE Band: 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/12/13/17/19/20/28/29/30  |   TD-LTE Band 38/39/40/41
Network (EMEA) LTE Band: 1/2/3/4/5/7/8/13/17/20/28  |   TD-LTE Band 38,40
As per to our knowledge, both the models match the 4G LTE requirements of all leading mobile networks in India including Reliance Jio. So if you are planning to get this phone internationally, you can go ahead and do so. But do remember! Optiemus will soon be launching a BlackBerry smartphone in India that could be the KEYone itself or an alternative handset having a smililar specs & price tag.
