If you are a BlackBerry fan and keyboard isn’t your choice, TCL has officially launched its much awaited all-touch BlackBerry Motion smartphone at GITEX Tech Week, Dubai. As expected, the phone sports very similar specs of its physical keyboard equipped sibling but with even larger 4000mAh battery. Now that we all know how long lasting the KEYone battery is (watch our full review here), this bump will definitely keep the Motion in movement for even longer. BlackBerry Motion features a 5.5-inch full HD display, 4GB RAM a dual-SIM slot and is rated IP67 for dust and water resistance, all powered by the Snapdragon 625 processor. It holds the same better than average camera of the BlackBerry KEYone.
BlackBerry Motion will be available in the U.A.E. and Saudi Arabia starting this month for AED 1,699 (around $460 / Rs. 29,999) and will spread its availability globally next month. Will India receive the Motion? We are not sure yet but we will definitely see a new BlackBerry phone by the end of 2017. TechRadarME, formerly known as T-break, has their hands-on of the Motion at GITEX and shared its first impression here. Apart from hardware, there isn’t much a difference in the software experience. Although, the convenience key will now let’s you set 3 different shortcuts and the fingerprint scanner is enhanced to perform gestures on the Motion. We believe these upgrades will also be brought over to existing KEYone users near soon. To read more, visit TechRadar ME website.

It also comes with the largest battery ever in a BlackBerry smartphone (4,000mAh), offering 32+ hours of mixed use.. MADE FOR SECURITY & PRIVACY
Like the BlackBerry KEYone, the BlackBerry Motion is designed with security built-in right from the start. This includes a hardened operating system and BlackBerry Limited’s proprietary technique for establishing a hardware root of trust and adding security keys to the processor. The BlackBerry Motion also comes with all the signature BlackBerry experiences that bring an unmatched level of efficiency to everything a customer does on the phone like BlackBerry® Hub, BlackBerry® Calendar, DTEK™ by BlackBerry and BlackBerry® Boost charging.
New to this latest BlackBerry Smartphone is a personal Locker. With Locker, customers can store documents and photos to an internal storage area that requires the device owner’s PIN code or fingerprint to access. Locker Mode allows customers to capture images and directly save those photos to the internal storage area, so they are not automatically saved to a cloud.
MADE FOR CONVENIENCE
Customers can also experience an improved customizable Convenience Key that brings even greater functionality and context to the quick-access physical key – unique to BlackBerry smartphones. This feature now includes four customizable profiles for Home, Car, Office and User, allowing for three different shortcut options that can be triggered by a home WiFi network, in-car Bluetooth, meetings that are synced to BlackBerry Hub or apps that are most commonly used. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the front of the device, which a doubles as a physical home button for added ease of use.
The BlackBerry Motion will be the first BlackBerry Dual SIM device to launch in the Middle East.
