Dual-camera equipped BlackBerry KEYone successor ‘Athena’ renders leaked!

By now we all are aware of the arrival of BlackBerry KEYone successor smartphone. Would it be called the KEYtwo? Well that’s too early to speculate but here’s our first look of the next glorious looking BlackBerry smartphone (codenamed Athena)!

To be honest, I did not like the design the moment I saw these pictures but looking at them closely changed my mind completely. The phone looks more sharp and bold than my KEYone. Also, this will probably be the first ever BlackBerry phone with dual camera setup. Other specs bump are expected to be on the RAM and processor side from the documents leaked before. Similar to BlackBerry Motion, the convenience key is moved in-line to volume rocker and power button on the right; keeping the left space independent for SIM & memory card tray.

BlackBerry ‘Athena’ is rumored to launch somewhere around summer and it being made by TCL, let’s hope that Optiemus gets the deal again to sell it down in India alongside its own BlackBerry ‘Ghost’ model.
